People say that the eyes are the window to the soul and when I saw their eyes in front of me, in that moment, I understood how honored I was by being a part of Yeka.
Yeka is a family for each person that gets involved, it is that place in the world with no prejudices and where each one is applauded for being the way they are.
Being part of the yeka family is having the opportunity to meet angels within this world, it is sitting and listening to a girl who, while crying, teaches you what is really important in this life and those challenges transform us to better people.
In my experience, I arrived at Yeka with a heart ready to give and in each dance, hug and smile my heart overflowed with love.
I expected to give and I ended up receiving even more.
