We ensure the holidays are enhanced for our girls with holiday events in their schools and personal packages delivered straight to their doors.
Every year for the High Holidays, Chanukah, Purim, and Passover, we send out packages to our girls throughout Ukraine to give them a little taste of the holidays. Each package is hand packed with love by Yeka volunteers filled with holiday themed crafts, treats and supplies to help them celebrate and feel the joy of the holiday.
For Chanukah and Passover, a group of volunteers travel throughout the country visiting our girls schools, orphanages and homes, making parties, educational programs such as our model matzah bakery and bearing gifts to provide the holiday cheer.
