For most children, the summer school break is a chance to let loose and enjoy time at home with family and loved ones. Unfortunately, for many of our girls, school break means abandonment and loneliness. Yeka summer camp is a safe haven for hundreds of Ukrainian Jewish girls. A place where they are well taken care of physically, mentally and spiritually. Every day at Yeka is packed with trips, activities, crafts, workshops, dancing, and of course loads of love. Our goal is to imbue our girls with the necessary warmth and vitality of Judaism as well as provide them each with a sense of pride, purpose and belonging, which will remain with them for years to come.
